GET TO KNOW ME
Experienced. Certified. Supportive.
Welcome! I'm Michelle Meier, a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Langley, British Columbia. With a passion for supporting teens and adults through various life challenges, I specialize in providing a healing space for those dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship conflict, self-esteem and self-identity struggles, and athletic mental performance.
I have a B.Sc and B.Ed from UBC and a Masters degree in Counselling from City University of Seattle. Prior to becoming an RCC, I was a high school teacher and counsellor for 13 years and have worked extensively with youth and adults navigating life transitions, developing self-identity and overcoming challenges.
In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your unique situation. I understand that life presents us with diverse challenges, and my goal is to offer support tailored to your individual needs. My therapeutic practice is an integrative model where I work from an evidence-based, holistic lens. I believe in fostering connection and secure attachments through a client-centered approach, that also draws on cognitive behavioural, solution-focused, and strength-based therapies.
